Coming from an Engineering background, I established a manufacturing, sales and marketing company in South Africa in 1971 and went on to be the proud recipient of two State Presidents Export Awards.

Having run over 1000 Road Races, including over 200 Standard Marathons and Ultra Marathons, I recognised the need for good quality medallions and souvenirs at South African Road Races and embarked in this field during 1992. The Company has since earned its place as South Africa's leading specialist in this field.

Our success may be summarised by the following 'acid test'.

'Would we as runners be happy to receive our produced Medallion or Souvenir when completing the race ourselves?'

We therefore pride ourselves in trying to do that little extra to make sure that race organisers and sponsors, as well as the athletes who compete, are satisfied that their souvenir is commensurate with the hard work and effort that has gone into staging and completeing the respective event.

Due to our success in the home market, we embarked on an export programme. Since 1996, we have been contracted for the supply of Medallions for the prestigious Flora London Marathon, and for the Berlin Marathon since 1997. We now supply many of the leading event organisers both in Europe, the USA, the UK and numerous countries around the world.
In year 2003 we broke through the barrier of exporting over one million medals.

2004 Represented a personal milestone with the running of my 500th marathon/ultra together with my 20th Comrades marathon in South Africa.
